The winners in the five categories were:

Judged exclusively by Finger Lakes winemakers, the Riesling Challenge saw 47 wineries submit 121 wines to the Challenge, which took place in April.

Saturday’s symposium events featured national and international experts talking about wine and food pairings and cold-climate wine seminars. It was at the Scandling Center at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Joshua Greene, editor and publisher of Wine & Spirits magazine, was the keynote speaker.

The Wine Symposium of the Finger Lakes was an initiative of Geneva Growth Inc. in collaboration with the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, the New York Wine and Culinary Center, Hobart William Smith College and the city of Geneva.
