Winter Hike with the Montezuma Audubon Center at Buttonwood Grove Winery (past)
Join Montezuma Audubon Center staff at Buttonwood Grove Winery for a winter birding and wine excursion! We will embark on a guided leisure hike along Buttonwood Grove's vineyard trails to see what birds and wildlife are wandering and flittering throughout the vineyards. Bald Eagles frequent the area so we will keep our eyes open for a Bald Eagle sighting. After our blood is pumping from our excursion, we will cozy up around a fire with a wine-tasting and chilli pairing presented by Buttonwood Grove. We will finish out this event with a live bird of prey presentation by Daena Ford of Braddock Bay Raptor Research to give everyone a closer look at their raptor ambassadors. We will be outside for the majority of the event so please dress accordingly! This event is 21+ and the winery staff may ask for identification.
