Located centrally in downtown Auburn, NY, Auburn Public Theater enriches the social, cultural, and economic growth of our region by bringing people together throw affordable access to live performances, cinema, arts education, arts grants, and community events.
Our diverse array of arts programming serves as a catalyst for cultural enrichment and entertainment for the over 150,000 patrons who have walked through our doors since 2005. We also offer our multiple spaces as rentals so that your dream of having your special event in a performance venue can come to fruition, not to mention our walking proximity to multiple local hotels and other nightlife in Auburn, NY.
Café 108:
Started with the mission of sustaining Auburn Public Theater, Café 108 is an award-winning café that sits at the front of our building on Genesee Street in Auburn, NY. Open Monday-Saturday with savory soups and sandwiches, delectable baked goods, breakfast all day, and Simple Roast coffee, Café 108 is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before venturing over to an APT event, or walking around downtown Auburn to the many cultural and historic sites. This café with a mission ensures our accessible programming at Auburn Public Theater can continue for many years to come.

Weekly Programming:
Auburn Public Theater hosts a range of weekly programming. Check out our Open Mic Night every First Friday at 7PM." (Open Mic occasionally takes hiatus’ based on staffing availability, check our website for up-to-date announcements)
In our Cinema Space, every Tuesday at 1PM we have a classic film showing for no charge. Free movie Tuesdays are ever popular, so be sure to reserve your seat online at auburnpublictheater.org/events/cinema/. On Saturdays at 3PM, catch another showing of our weekly classic film for free.
