Swedish Hill Winery + Cider Co.

Swedish Hill Winery + Cider Co. is now under new ownership! After being neighbors on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail for over 20 years, the Martin Family has recently added Swedish Hill Winery & Vineyards to their portfolio. The Martin family is also the proud owners of Montezuma Winery, located at the north end of our trail. Swedish Hill had previously been owned by the Peterson family since 1986, producing a range of wines that have gained popularity throughout New York State. Prior to opening the doors to Swedish Hill, Dick and Cindy Peterson planted vines in 1969 to sell grapes to Taylor Winery, one of the few wineries in the Finger Lakes at the time.

Their family roots run deep in the history of the Finger Lakes wine region, and it is a story the Martin family plans to continue to share as they blend the Peterson family legacy with theirs. Visit Swedish Hill’s tasting room open daily 10am-5pm to taste their wide selection of wines, enjoy a glass on the deck, and take in the country landscape. Plus, enjoy their lines of hard ciders, Donkey Kick!
