Sheldrake Point Winery
Sheldrake Point Winery, named for the prominent point of land it occupies on Cayuga Lake’s western shore, was founded in 1997 on a 55-acre former orchard and dairy farm. Continuing the land’s agricultural legacy, we now cultivate 60 acres of vineyards planted to ten classic vitis vinifera varieties, producing about 8,500 cases of estate-grown, produced, and bottled wines each year. Guests can taste through an award-winning portfolio that includes elegant Dry Rosé, world-class Ice Wines, and a wide selection of expressive whites and reds.
Our seasonal bistro adds to the experience, offering fresh, locally inspired fare that pairs beautifully with our wines in a relaxed lakeside setting. Visitors are invited to enjoy tastings overlooking Cayuga Lake, stroll our beautiful grounds, and discover why Sheldrake Point Winery has become a beloved Finger Lakes destination for wine, food, and hospitality—with the added convenience of boat access to our tasting room.
